Kari Tauring The otherworldly sound of kulning and lokking, (cow calling vocals of the pre-Norwegian herding girls) and the Huldre (cow-tailed fairy women) waft over the fjords, across the sea to the heartland, where Minneapolis-based singer Kari Tauring lives. Author of "The Runes: A Human Journey" (2007), Tauring's performances draw on 20 years of research and experience. Using elements such as a Danish flint knife from 20,000 BC, a replica of a Scandinavian Bronze Age string skirt (2,000 BC), and runic letterforms from 20 BC to the Middle Ages, Tauring sings and tells stories from our deep Scandinavian taproot. Drew Miller Drew is a longtime linchpin of the Twin Cities music scene. From the legendary celtadelic world music sounds of Boiled In Lead to the time traveling fusions of Felonious Bosch and so much more. Aside from playing with many different artists Drew has worked hard behind the scenes to bring unique and passionate music from around the world to Twin Cities audiences. We are truly richer for his presence. Bedlam Bedlam is a long time favorite of the Minnesota Renaissance Festival and of audiences around the region. Taking music from all eras and adding powerful harmonies and rock and roll sensibilities, they bring together a joyous sound and energy that brings them new fans wherever they turn up. Where Bedlam plays, fun follows.
